What people say about Steeples Dyslexia...
I highly recommend Sarah...
I am a mother of twins who always had learning difficulties in school. The teachers during Primary School attributed their problems to the fact that they had been born in the summer and were premature twins.
I thought it was a very good idea to explore a bit further and I decided to contact Sarah Steeples.
She did the assessment with each one and spent several hours with them doing different activities.
When we got the results (both with Dyslexia) Sarah took the time to explain each step and advised me and the School giving us different ideas on how to specifically help with each other's problems.
I highly recommend Sarah not only because the diagnosis she gave us is very accurate, but also because her years of experience as a school teacher help make the process much easier for me and my children.
Many thanks for a professional service...
Sarah was easy to contact and available for questions before and after the assessment. My child was happy with the conditions and atmosphere of the assessment which was kind, calm and without fuss, which put him at ease.
The report was detailed and very clear and Sarah was happy to discuss it over the phone too which was helpful. She made the process easy to understand and follow.
My child was relieved by the diagnosis as it confirmed that his difficulties had a specific cause and that some help will be available to him going forward. Many thanks for a very accessible and professional service.
My child felt completely at ease with Sarah...
I have always known my child was dyslexic. It wasn't until he started to attend secondary school that I was pro-actively listened to. Having looked at all the detailed but thoughtful questionnaires on the Steeples Dyslexia website I realised that getting my child assessed formally and having his 'extra powers' diagnosed would help him navigate school and their work life afterwards.
My child felt completely at ease with Sarah. He said time flew and he didn't realise 3 hours had passed. The report produced by Sarah from the assessments and the time spent going through it with us was amazing.
I would recommend Sarah if you were thinking of having your child assessed.
We are so grateful...
We are so grateful to Sarah for assessing our 17-year old daughter for dyslexia. Sarah's friendly, calm, patient yet professional manner helped take the stress out of what may have felt a bit daunting. Sarah took the time to listen to our concerns and liaised with our daughter's tutors at Craven college. We now have a clearer path moving forwards and a better understanding of interventions to consider during her time in further/higher edication and employment.
My daughter felt comfortable...
My daughter really related to the report summary you gave and felt you described her really well. The process of the assessment was fine, you had the interpersonal skills and approach that meant my daughter felt comfortable. Thanks again for your help.
